When was the last time you had an entire day to yourself to do or not do whatever you wanted to do or not do? Even though we have the weekend to, in theory, take a break, many of us don't take a break because that's the time to hurry up and accomplish all the things we didn't have time to take care of during the week. If you have kids who aren't old enough to take public transportation or drive on their own, you might be running them around. You might be facing weekend crowds to take care of errands. You might be hiding out in the garage or sneaking in some video games before you are faced with the "honey do" list. You might be scrambling to get the laundry done and get the house in order before the next weekly life cycle hits. Life can get busy and taking one day a week for yourself is important for your well-being.
