Often we want to live in the past and say "Remember When" or we dream about the future and say "some day." But God gives us the present as a gift. This episode focuses on living one day at a time and embracing the here and now as a way to be filled with the Spirit that will help us navigate life.
Scripture Reading 1:35- Psalm 118:19-29 (NRSV), Is. 43:16-19 NRSV, Matt. 6:25-34, NLT, Luke 9:57-62 NRSV; Message-6:44; Song "One Day at a Time" 24:47; Community Connection-28:17; Closing 33:56
Many thanks to John Musick, who died in August 2022 for providing the inspiration for this series. Thanks also to Dan McKnight for the introduction, Elizabeth Kieschnick for reading the Scriptures, Camy Wenberg for singing "One Day at a Time" and Ruth Skinner for providing the closing song.
The song "One Day at a Time" was used with permission using One License #715833
Next week there will be an episode released on April 5, which is Holy Week, which will be a shortened episode with a sermon for Holy Week on Judas and an episode on April 9, Easter Sunday with an Easter message on Peter.
On April 19 a new series on the Beatitudes will begin.
