Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace

Having employed a time machine to recast our film back before it was made in part one, we move on to something a bit less likely to create a Butterfly Effect-esque, ‘oh my god it’s raining donuts‘ type of reaction here in part two. We start with some really excellent listener recasting suggestions, and them move on to reveal who the big winners were amongst our picks. Then we move on to how we would change this movie were we to remake it ourselves. Along the way we tackle the bureaucracy present in trade routes and taxation (zzzzzzzzzz), character choices and performers (looking at you, Jar Jar), practical effects vs. green screen, and the role of this film in the larger Star Wars universe.
