Every Thursday we are following Dave Stewarts 12 week online coaching program. This episode will feature clips from Dave and I’s conversation from week #3 of his program.

We get into all kinds of stuff in this episode from going over some questions he had about his program like

  • Why a core exercise like leg raises hurts his lower back
  • Why training your glutes are so important to your lower back health
  • Why one sole on his running shoe is more worn out than the other and what this can mean to the mechanics of his running

We also run into our first hurdle. Dave has been mixing in the program and running but he’s now suffered his first minor injury, it’s one of those injuries that if we are not careful it can lead to something more serious which may alter his goal of running a race.
