Aber selbst wenn es nicht ganz so apokalyptisch daher kommt, scheint es "das Computerspiel" zu geben: Irgendwas mit Action, das stundenlange Anwesenheit vor dem Bildschirm erfordert. Oder ein Smartphone-Spiel, dem man in regelmäßigen Abständen 10-Euro-Scheine zufüttern muss.
In Wirklichkeit ist "Computerspiel" die Bezeichnung für einen Kosmos, in dem es zahlreiche Möglichkeiten gibt, sich an einem digitalen Gerät Geschichten, Actionabenteuern, Puzzleaufgaben, Wettkämpfen und anderen menschlichen Erlebnissen zu stellen.
Der Vortrag wird einen Einblick in diesen Kosmos gewähren: Welche verschiedenen Arten von Computerspielen gibt es? Was genau spielt man da? Aus welcher Motivation spielt man das? Und wer spielt das?
