Andy Rupp ist Nachwuchsgruppenleiter der Arbeitsgruppe „CyPhyCryp“ am Institut für theoretische Informatik des Karlsruher Instituts für Technologie und beschäftigt sich dort mit Kryptographie.
Konkret arbeitet er an einem Bonuskartensystem, das mittels Zero-Knowledge/Proof-of-Knowledge die Privatsphäre schützt und dennoch alle Vorteile eines herkömmlichen Systems mitbringt.
