Der Kanadier Christopher Kyba forscht am Geoforschungszentrum in Potsdam zu den Themen Künstliche Außenbeleuchtung, Lichtverschmutzung und Stromverbrauch – die eigentlich ein einziges, kombiniertes Thema sind.

Christopher hat auch eine App entwickelt, um Lichtverschmutzung als Bürgerwissenschafts-Projekt zu messen. Sie heißt „Verlust der Nacht“ und ist für iOS und Android erhältlich. Über Christophers aktuelle Forschung zu LEDs sprechen wir in der nächsten, ausführlichen Ausgabe des Resonators.
