Manage episode 197535738 series 1408973
Judging from the post I put out on Saturday detailing the results we’ve had with diabetes, and this upcoming interview with Terry Tillaart about reversing type 1 diabetes, I’m ready for a lot of love, and a lot of hate. But as they say the truth hurts, so here we go…
On today’s show we have Dr Terry Tillaart back for his third appearance on the show, and let me tell you he definitely brought his A game.
Having lived with a father who got diagnosed with diabetes I know how much it can impact not just the person’s life who has the disease, but also the family dynamic too. Where visits to restaurants used to be pleasurable, they became a frustration because he couldn’t eat what he wanted to. Birthdays and other celebrations generally had the same fate too.
It wasn’t until my Dad finally changed his approach to the issue, and we reversed his diabetes, that all this changed.
Today it is becoming common knowledge that with diet and lifestyle changes you can reverse type 2 diabetes. However, type 1 diabetes is still seen as a lifelong condition where you have to inject yourself with insulin everyday to survive.
Hmmm… this didn’t seem right to me. And if (like we are told) it was a genetic condition you are born with, why are more and more people now getting diagnosed with it in their 20’s, 30’s and 40’s?
So, I decided to start researching, and what I found was fascinating. Along the way Terry’s video on, “Why Insulin Is Dangerous!”, kept popping up, so I gave him a quick message and asked him to join me on the show to discuss everything he knew from about type 1 diabetes, from the scientific journals and evidence he has read, to the results he has gotten with his clients.
In the interview we discussed:
- The difference between type 1 & type 2 diabetes
- Whether fruit is OK for diabetics
- The research that proves why type 1 diabetes is not a lifelong condition and how you can reverse it naturally
- How to heal the pancreas
- Why people hold on to these afflixitions
- The importance of Vitamin D for diabetics
- The test you can do for diabetes & much more
As always it was a pleasure to speak to Terry and he’s always a welcome guest on the show.
