JOHN 5 1Some time later, Jesus went up to Jerusalem for one of the Jewish festivals. 2Now there is in Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate a pool, which in Aramaic is called Bethesda and which is surrounded by five covered colonnades. 3In these lay a multitude of those who were sick, blind, lame, and withered, [waiting for the moving of the waters; 4for an angel of the Lord went down at certain seasons into the pool, and stirred up the water; whoever then first, after the stirring up of the water, stepped in was made well from whatever disease with which he was afflicted.] 5And a certain man was there, who had been thirty-eight years in his sickness. 6When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he had already been a long time in that condition, He said to him, “Do you wish to get well?” “Waiting On The World To Change.” The First One In Would Win. That’s The Way Religion Works. You Don’t Have To Be First. The More Desperate The Situation The Greater The Opportunity For A Miracle. “I Ain’t Got Nobody.” Faith Has The Ability To Override The Facts. John 4 - You Don’t Need A Bucket When You’re The Well. You Don’t Have To Come To The Water. The Water Came To You “B.Y.O.B.” Bring Your Own Breakthrough. Breakthrough Doesn’t Change The Situation. Breakthrough Changes You. What If The Only Thing Blocking Your Breakthrough Is Your Willingness To Believe That Breakthrough Is Possible. 8Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.” 9At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked. “Bunker-Buster Bombs” Breakthrough Begins Where My Excuses End.
