By Anita Stewart, Tampa Correspondent for Rock at Night and Yes She Rocks

Jocelyn and Chris Arndt joined Rock at Night for a fun interview in between traveling to their next gig and juggling their studies at Harvard in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Originally hailing from a small central New York town, this brother and sister duo looked for fun in all the right places, starting with their parents’ music collection and then went on to mastering musical instruments. After that, there was no looking back! Jocelyn and Chris started gigging everywhere while gaining notoriety along the way.

Smoking vocals and keys by Jocelyn and wild-ass guitar by Chris, amazing bass lines by Kate Sgroi and drums by David Bourgeois round out their very retro rock and roll sound. Their latest album is titled Edges and was released earlier this year. It features guests Danny Louis of Gov’t Mule and G Love. Soft ballads and belting rock and roll make this recording a treat to listen to. Now touring everywhere, be sure to check their site and socials to see when they are coming to your town!

These two young people who are definitely old souls sounded wise beyond their years! We talked about retro music, the music industry, Grace Potter, creative inspiration, how they balance their studies at Harvard with touring and writing music, knitting, snow and so much more!
