By Steven Neff, Rock At Night Orlando Correspondent
Rock At Night had the pleasure of talking with Leaves’ Eyes mastermind and metal warrior Alexander Krull before he took the stage at the House Of Blues Orlando last Friday night. Alexander talked to us about the band’s new life with frontwoman Elina Siirala, the new EP Fires in the North, next year’s North American tour with Sabaton, and an upcoming new album.
Alexander’s stage presence is formidable, particularly during his death growl vocals which back frontwoman Elina Siirala. However, in our conversation with Krull, his demeanor and personality was laid back and warm. He enjoys what he does and that comes out in our interview with him.
I’ve wanted to cover this band for a while and the combination of the interview with Alexander Krull and the epic concert provided by Leaves’ Eyes had me walking away a bigger fan than when I first came.
Our special thanks go to Alexander Krull for taking time out to speak with us. We look forward to your next metal conquest in North America.
