“This process isn’t just about healing us, it’s about healing everyone.”
Vanessa Diaz, may best be described as a modern day alchemist. The licensed massage therapist, and Founder of Mind Body Spirit Healing Center had much to say about the intricacies of healing her own deep sexual wounds, and that of the collective. Vanessa was molested as a teenager, and faced more trauma/abuse as she got older.
She used a variety of healing methods to treat her trauma, and each were essential to her holistic approach. Meditation, sound therapy, breath work and hydrotherapy, we cover them in detail on the show. Vanessa said, “Meditation opened lots of small locked doors of trauma and abuse”. She also talks about her vow of celibacy, and her personal experiences of dealing with sexual harassment in the entertainment industry. “This process isn’t just about healing us, it’s about healing everyone.”
