The commemoration of the Langa Massacre in the Eastern Cape has been postponed indefinitely. Family members of the more than 20 people who were killed when police opened fire on funeral goers on the 25th anniversary of the Sharpeville massacre on the 21st of March 1985 had a tense meeting with organisers of the event. According to the families, they don't want the commemoration to go ahead because of broken promises.
