Our guests today are the co-founders of Byron Bay Clothing and Fashion brand AFENDS, Declan Wise and Johnathan Salfield. We spoke about the origins of Afends as a punk brand, visit to Japan as a catalyst for its creation, growing up in Byron Bay, the influence of surfing/skating/psychedelics on Afends, inspirations, creating a cultural movement, design process, the hemp revolution and its benefits to the environment, self-sustainability, plans with their 100 acre hemp farm near Byron and much more.
