Psychology Behind the Clutch Gene

What does it take? When it comes to being clutch and developing that “dog mentality” have you been working out your mentality? Here Jason explains that your mental reps can be just as strong as your physical ones and even more important in clutch situations. This is an absolute must watch! This skill is very undervalued and underdeveloped.

Jason Kampinga is a lifetime athlete that played college football before transitioning to training and competing in the martial arts. After college, he worked for a variety of supplement, fitness, and recovery therapy companies for athletic performance. Throughout this process, he always incorporated a dimension of sports psychology as each aspect pertains to performance and overall well-being. Jason founded Parabellum Performance to provide a professional consulting service to athletes, parents, and coaches to implement sports psychology skills for optimal performance whether reducing unwanted behavior or initiating desired behavior for results.
