This week, Dan sits down with four-time Grammy-winning, music engineer and producer, Vance Powell.

Vance has been both figuratively and literally "in the mix" with some of the coolest, most innovative musical acts of the last decade, including Jack White, The Raconteurs, Chris Stapleton, Jars of Clay, Black Prairie, and even Alicia Keys on a theme song for a James Bond film. In this conversation, Vance talks about how recorded music can mimic life, the value of a good mistake and his creative process.
