A little about Savannah...

Savannah Arwood is a native of the southwest Virginia region. She has a B.A. in theatre and English from East Tennessee State University, with hopes to pursue a second degree in psychology and social work. Savannah is currently in the process of creating a blog about her personal journey through alcoholism and addiction, recovery, relapse, treatment, hospitalizations, and mental health diagnoses, also hoping to find contributors to share their own experiences either as a fellow addict or loved one of an addict. She currently lives in her hometown and is focusing solely on long-term physical and mental health treatments before applying for schools and beginning her career path. Savannah is extremely passionate about transparency in sharing her experience in hopes of reaching and connecting with others who seek help or just someone with whom they can talk openly. No one need suffer alone or in silence.
