A national survey of more than 2,000 American workers has uncovered a major disconnect between employees and managers in the workforce. In fact, 80% of employees surveyed believe they could do their job without their manager. There is a striking difference in the American workplace between how managers think they are doing, and how employee think their managers are doing – and that has a big impact on people’s likelihood to stay at a job.
