I deleted all of my social media accounts that were created before the latter half of 2017 and people had a lot of questions. When people ask me, "How in the world are you going to make a difference and survive without your Instagram followers?" I tell them: MLK, Rosa Parks and Oprah didn't change the world with Instagram. Everyone seems perplexed at the idea of wanting to delete 12,000 followers from Instagram, 2,000 friends from Facebook, 19,000 followers from Tumblr, and 13,000 tweets, but I'm here to tell you to dream bigger than social media. Listen to me walk down the street and explain why I think you need to strive for more than having followers.
