Tara Sutphen CHt will discuss “Ghost Hunting and Paranormal Investigations” with Brandon Alvis. His fascination with history is vital to his work as an accomplished filmmaker, writer, and TV personality. Brandon's directorial debut, 'Ephemera' received four prestigious nominations: Best Documentary and Best Visuals at the Vancouver Web Fest, International Academy of Web Television Awards, and the Ozark Mountain Web Fest. He not only has pitched, produced, and edited shows greenlit by major production companies, but his 17+ years of paranormal investigating came to fruition after he was asked to appear on A&E's 'Ghost Hunters' where he introduced groundbreaking new investigative techniques that are heavily steeped in scientific principle and received the most convincing results in the series' history. Brandon has spoken at historical locations across the United States and has appeared in the 'New York Post', 'MTV News', Travel Channel, Discovery Channel, Science Channel and A&E Networks. Brandon's feature-length documentary film 'Cemetery Park' was an instant success and became an official selection of the Santa Barbara International Film Festival shortly after its release. Brandon produced, narrated, shot, and edited the movie in its entirety.
