This week on “Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia,” Lilian sits down for an EXCLUSIVE interview with NXT UK Superstar and the winner of the 2nd Mae Young Classic, Toni Storm. In this episode, Toni discusses what it was like to win the Mae Young Classic and the immediate aftermath of winning the prestigious tournament. Although she’s only 24 years old, Toni has over a DECADE of pro wrestling experience and started training when she was only 13 years old. Toni talks the obstacles she had not just being such a teenager entering the wrestling business but many personal issues she dealt with. She would be diagnosed with anxiety at the age of 16 and would suffer from depression. She mentions how wrestling would be her ultimate outlet but still struggled with unfortunate circumstances such as trusting the WRONG people. For the FIRST TIME since the leaks of her private photos & video got released to the internet, Toni speaks out about her reaction as well as relating and getting inspiration from WWE Superstar Paige among others who supported her.
Toni has wrestled all over the world and shares what she learned from wrestling and living in Japan and find out why she identifies more as an Australian even though she was born in Auckland, New Zealand. All this and so much more in this one of a kind interview with a shining star from the NXT UK brand. Get fired up as it’s about to get real, raw, and inspiring with Toni Storm.
