In this episode, Danny Hauger tours his garden. As learning grows each year, you can see the blossoming of knowledge in a classroom. Branches extend, and the fruits of study and investment begin to bloom throughout the year. There are so many parallels to gardening and teaching, that I reached out to Four Winds Growers in Watsonville, California. As a local grower to our show, with extremely reasonable prices.

FourWindsGrowers.com inspired me to try a new idea in distance learning, documenting the growth of a tree as a metaphor for our knowledge of history over the school year. I ordered a Holiday Avocado tree, and I look forward to planting at the start of the 2020 school year, and showing to my class remotely.

In this unusual time, I hope every teacher who is returning is staying safe with a mask or shield in the new school year. There can be an intimidating presence of some masks, so I reached out to a talented mask maker designing masks for teachers. With these awesome masks, you can look great, express yourself, and gather smiles from your students, while following provisions for safety in the classroom this fall. SpindleandFaith Etsy Store is has the best variety of meaningful, enjoyable, and original mask designs. Grab a few to make your rotation fresh, varied, and fun! Use promo code “Inspiring” to save 10% and help support Inspiring Teachers. Peter has 33 education-themed masks for your enjoyment. Go grab one for yourself and a teacher friend, or administrator! https://www.etsy.com/shop/SpindleAndFaith?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=786580780§ion_id=28693327 (Promo code: Inspiring for 10% off)
