With the death of Judith Dalton weighing heavily on his mind, Joe Martin decides to retrace her steps in an attempt to get a lead on her killer’s identity.

Faced with an ever increasing number of unexplained, gruesome murders in what has always been a sleepy, relatively peaceful town, Joe finds himself haunted and troubled by memories from his former life as a city detective. Suddenly, as if summoned by those very memories, his former partner shows up unannounced at the station house. Will his partner’s appearance be a boon for the stressed sheriff, or will it just add to the ever increasing chaos?
