May is Mental Health Awareness Month and in support of it, we’re highlighting MindUP For Life | The Goldie Hawn Foundation. MindUP for Life is a mental health organization that teaches children skills and habits they can take into their lives. Skills like regulating stress and emotion, forming lasting relationships, and acting with kindness.

We have contributed not only $25,000.00 to MindUP For Life: The Goldie Hawn Foundation, but we have raised, so far, a total of $27,777.00 out of our goal of $30,000.00. AMAZING!

Practicing Self-Care during Mental Health Awareness month is so important. The past year has challenged us mentally, physically, and emotionally. During times of stress and anxiety, we must do all that we can to take care of our well-being in every manner possible. Now more than ever, it’s important for us to practice the art of self-care. In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, I will be sharing tips for simple practices you can start at home to foster more connection both with yourself and others.

-Reach out to a loved one

-Read a book (with a glass of wine :) )

-Wind down before bed

-Schedule "ME-Time"

-Draw a relaxing bubble bath (with a glass of wine)
