We've all felt inexperienced in one way or another, but when you're underqualified on paper, it can be difficult for employers to notice your value and your ability to grow. It's more about understanding what applies and doesn't apply from your previous experience, and then using that to make it easy for a hiring manager to understand your future value.

When you think about your transferrable skills, and you start looking for those common threads, the common denominators between what you've done and what you want to do, you will start to feel more secure about it. You've got to connect the dots for yourself before you connect the dots for anyone else. That's how you do it.

In this episode, you'll discover how to identify and frame your transferrable skills for a new role. I cover what to look for in job descriptions to uncover inside language, how to leverage your behavioral strengths to stand out, and how to include your accolades in the right way to give the hiring manager that 'ah ha' moment that solidifies you as the right candidate.
