A cafe in Costa Rica, where everything sold is grown in the local area… right on the beach… it sounds idyllic right?! Well that’s what our guest this week has started. Elizabeth Couse is a farmer and environmentalist, now cafe restaurant owner.

This was an awesome episode where we hit on so so many interesting and important topics from inclusivity and people, diversity, permaculture, colonialism, capitalism and so much more…. You don’t want to miss this one!

This is the weekly podcast that talks all things food growing with those doing amazing things from across the UK and the world. Every week we deliver you a podcast that interviews a fantastic food grower that is doing things differently, inspirationally or that has an awesome story to tell.

In this episode we are delighted to have Elizabeth Couse all the way from Costa Rica on the podcast. Please excuse the background noise in this episode, Elizabeth was recording from the cafe in it’s beautiful surroundings.

We talked about so much in the episode from inclusivity and people, diversity, permaculture, colonialism, capitalism and so much more.

Plus the all important quick-fire questions of course…. Will Patrick be #teambeer or #teamcoffee ???

This is a podcast that will hopefully inspire and inform you whatever experience you have… from aspiring grower, to casual allotmenteer, right through to fully fledged market gardener. We will be talking everything from no-dig to permaculture, mushrooms to marketing.

We are your hosts Chris from Fanfield Farm and Jack from Jacks Patch and we will be bringing you an inspirational interview, some tips and tricks from our own farms as well as the fun feature of quick fire questions that we ask every guest…. Obviously including whether they prefer an evening farm beer or morning farm coffee!!
