“You can learn so much in exploring someone else’s perspective. You can learn so much about yourself.”

This very special episode is the result of a recent conversation with my friend, Jennifer Bulbrook. Both of us have lost loved ones to AIDS. We vowed not to let another World AIDS Day pass without acknowledging those impacted by the stigma, the judgement, and the grief that accompanies this diagnosis, including the families.

In connecting with one another, we have the ability to create further understanding, awareness, and to cultivate compassion for our fellow humans. With full awareness that this topic remains taboo, Jennifer and I are willing to get real, raw, and vulnerable in sharing our experiences in the hopes that others will know they are not alone.

In the spirit of forging ahead with my own concept that “no topic is off limits,” this particular conversation has taken me decades to create. In honor of every other human who has been touched by AIDS, know that you are seen, you are heard, and you are loved.

I am always open to support you in your journey.
