Madelyn Yu served as the President of the Philippine Nurses Association of America in 2018-2020. Before retirement, Madelyn was the nursing director of the Post Anesthesia Care Unit at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in New Jersey.
Madelyn graduated from the University of the Philippines School of Nursing. She completed her Masters in Nursing Administration at Seton Hall University, earning the highest award for Leadership, the Sarah Ericksson Award.
She talks about her early life, career as a nurse, her work with PNAA and shares very vulnerable stories on how Covid has affected her and her family.
