Country music legend Claude Gray died April 28, 2023, at the age of 91. His was a remarkable career that spanned seven decades. During his career he had five hit records in the Billboard Top 10 charts, each selling more than 1 million copies. The Henderson, Texas, native was a member of the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame and the 2023 recipient of the CMA of Texas Lifetime Achievement Award. On this special episode of Tractors and Troubadours, you'll hear some of the music that cemented the legacy of "The Tall Texan" in country music history. You'll also hear from some of those who had a chance to spend time around Claude and not only witness his artistry but also his kind and charitable nature.
