This episode with Katie Griffiths was such a genuine authentic conversation that I know you will all love.

Katie is what we would call an all around athlete and competitor! From hockey, to golf, to physique competitions, coaching, and now flying planes, it kind of seems like Katie has done it all!

Tune in to hear more about:

-Where Katie's competitive drive comes from

-The terrible injury Katie suffered which changed her life

-Katie's approach to finding balance with her health

-And Katie's journey to aviation school

More on Katie Griffiths:

Katie received a full-ride golf scholarship to Jackson State University in Mississippi, where she pursued a degree in kinesiology and played Division 1 golf. After two years, Katie returned to Canada and started working at a gym, where she was introduced to bodybuilding. Her involvement in bodybuilding led her to compete nationally and internationally, with the Arnold Amateur stage being the largest platform she competed on. Katie had some complications with bodybuilding which then transitioned her to CrossFit and eventually back to golf.

Katie resumed competing in long drive competitions in 2019 and obtained her pro card within a year, earning a spot in the worlds competition.

In addition to her own competitive pursuits, Katie has also worked with hundreds of clients on their own fitness and nutrition journeys.

Most recently, due to injuries in golf, Katie shifted her career path and enrolled in aviation school as a full-time student pilot. She currently travels across the states as a pro golfer for backswing golf events and participates in charity events.
