Ever heard of the Empty Nest Syndrome?

Do you think you have it?

For the uninitiated, empty nest syndrome is when your kids grow up and leave the house for better opportunities.

Most women are struggling with an empty nest as they know that once a kid steps out, they only come back as a guest. Women have to re-adjust their hectic life as suddenly they have a lot of extra time on their plate.

In this episode, hosts Meeta Gupta and Ritu Prasad share that there are three stages to the nest syndrome- Grief, Relief and Joy.

It is a time when the next chapter begins in a woman’s life. They can re-evaluate their priorities and work on projects that took a backseat because of the responsibility of the kids. They can spend time learning a new hobby or traveling.

It is also an ideal time to take back the charge of finances and understand about their investments and assets.

This conversation will give you a new perspective on the phase of empty nest syndrome. It will motivate you to try new things and also take charge of your finances.
