Personal trainer Jayd Harrison gives tips for getting back into your workout routine after time away to avoid injury and getting sick (again).

Many people work out way too hard on their first workout back in the gym after being sick or taking time off. In this episode, Jayd spoke with her Twitch chat about how to get back into training in a way that will help, not harm, your body.

Jayd also talks about why people feel the need to “punish” themselves or “catch up” from time away from the gym—and why that’s not necessary to get back in shape.
