Draw Near to God and He will draw near to you James 4:8 Drawing Near by Fervent Faith Hebrews 11:6 (ESV)And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. I. The Example of Noah: Obedience (ver. 7) Hebrews 11:7 (ESV) 7 By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. By this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith. Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. • First, Noah’s obedience was meticulous. • Meticulous Obedience Does Not Eradicate God’s Grace.
