I'm about to release my first debut EP!
But before it comes out, I thought it'll be an interesting idea to share the stories behind each song on the EP.
This is the last out of the series, and goes for slightly longer. I talk about working with a mentor through the Headliners Club course over at SoundFly (soundfly.com). Through the directives from my mentor Mahea Lee, I ended up with two songs "Shed My Skin" and "Lifeboat (Tasman Sea)". Tune in to hear how I wrote these tracks, how they fit into my EP and was pivotal in joining the tracks for the EP, and how SoundFly supported me through the entire process!
In the upcoming episodes, I talk about the current state of the industry and how we should approach artists who have committed crimes and their legacy (and ongoing works). And in a separate episode I will talk about my background and how I came to be 'here'. Stay tuned!
Head to https://www.feiloka.com for more details. Thanks for listening.
