Welcome to episode 311 of the Sexology Podcast! Today I am delighted to welcome Dr. Candice Nicole Hargons to the podcast. In this episode, we look at racial trauma, how it impacts men and women differently, and how our cultural scripts can affect our sexual pleasure.

She is also a co-I on projects funded by NIDA, HRSA, and NIMHD examining substance use outcomes, treatment, and sexual health disparities. Additionally, she leads the Big Sex Study, a mixed methods, community-based participatory action research project investigating Black sexual wellness.
