When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. Every August, the founder of Caroline’s Comedy Club Caroline Hirsch stops by the big show studio to give us the big scoop on the New York Comedy Festival! We talked about this year’s lineup, the state of comedy in our politically charged world and so much more!
The 15th annual New York Comedy Festival runs November 5th to the 11th in partnership with TBS - over 200 comedians are participating!

The lineup this year includes Bill Burr at Madison Square Garden, Conan O’Brien & Friends at the Beacon Theater, Tracey Morgan at the Beacon Theater, Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias at The Beacon and Jay & Silent Bob’s Jason Mewes at Caroline’s.
Caroline is the founder and owner of Caroline’s on Broadway - Caroline’s first opened as a small cabaret club in Chelsea in 1982! Caroline began booking comedians like Jerry Seinfeld Tim Allen, Billy Crystal, Rosie O’Donnell and Jay Leno. Leno was the 1st comedian she ever hired!
