Echosmith is an indie pop band comprised of siblings Sydney, Noah, and Graham Sierota. Started in 2009, the family band has gone through immense changes over the decade: their brother Jamie leaving the band in 2016, development in songwriting content and style, and more. In this sidewalk interview, Lara asks the band a few questions about their lives and how they’ve grown since they first started making music together/since they put out their debut album Talking Dreams. The ”Cool Kids” songwriters shed light on their adolescence growing up in the Toluca Lake, Glendale, Pasadena, and Chino Hills areas; what it was like for them to garner attention and success at a young age as teenagers signed by Warner Brothers; the things they felt when touring with Pentatonix and Twenty One Pilots; what went through their mind when winning the MTV Fandom Awards; how they’ve grown as individuals beyond their music; and so much more. Watch the interview to hear the whole story before they drop their sophomore album Lonely Generation in 2020!
