Even though yet again this week's O60s and O70s County Championship programme was decimated by the weather we've got another packed podcast for your enjoyment.
We mention Oxfordshire's Stephen 'Ned' Kelly who is approaching 150 matches which made us wonder who out there has played more O50s, O60s and O70s matches combined so if that is you or one of your teammates please do drop us some details to podcast@trevorleemedia.co.uk
Grant has tracked down Jeff Baxter who we think might be one of the more elderly players competing in the County championship game so we're keen to know who the oldest player is who is currently playing regularly in the O70s competition. Again email us podcast@trevorleemedia.co.uk if you are aware of someone who is potentially that cricketer.
We also reveal the big news about the latest signing for Lancashire O70s – someone we hope to have as a guest on this podcast at some point.
We cover the England O60s versus Scotland District Forty Club matches. The first match on Thursday 30th was cancelled but the second match at Hartlepool CC went ahead on Friday 31st with Cheshire's Paul Radage catching the eye with 81 from 67 balls at the top of the order along with yet another 100 from Montie Douglas. Here's the scorecard link.
Please do share this podcast with your Over 60s and Over 70s cricket teammates and friends.
If someone in your team achieves a particular milestone which could be their 50th game, their 50th wicket, their 1000 run etc…please do let us know and we will give them a shout out. Please send the details to podcast@trevorleemedia.co.uk
And don’t forget to send as a comedy moment either in writing or on a voicemail clip and send them to podcast@trevorleemedia.co.uk

The O70s World Cup is taking place in England starting on July 28th - details of the tournament and the England squad here: O70s World Cup 2024 – we will be having representatives from England Over 70s on the podcast nearer the time of the tournament.
Here is the link the O60s / O70s Play Cricket site: O60s / O70s Play Cricket and you can keep up to date with all the fixtures and results for England Seniors from the 40+ side through to the O70s here: England Seniors Play Cricket

We are always on the look out for future guests who can provide insights, tips, advice and inspiration to those playing cricket at this age and beyond!
