A lot has happened since we last addressed this topic, so here we are again four years later discussing civil asset forfeiture.

When we covered this topic early in the life of the show, we mainly discussed the way it worked and the question of whether or not there was a way it could be done that wasn’t abusive. A few years down the road we’ve seen a number of changes to how civil asset forfeiture works both making it harder to take people’s things and easier.
