This week on the Sk8 O’Clock Skateboarding Podcast we are back with the juicy news, no this is not the Vans Propeller review although the video dropped on iTunes this week, be looking out for our full review coming shortly. This week we wanted to give a preview of the brand new Avenue Suspension Skateboarding Trucks on Kickstarter. You can get in on this early and get a set before they have official distribution. Avenue has made the worlds first high quality suspension truck which claims to 1) increase speed 2) allow for higher allies 3) Greatly reduce impact 4) reduce or virtually eliminate speed wobbles, and tons more. If the stress tests and the test group of around 200 skaters are any indicator, these could very well be the future of skateboard trucks. What do you think???
In the news Matt Berger is pro on Flip and you can check out his welcome video. Red Bull Hart Lines is a new tournament format featuring 3 different routes of the same street course and a time limit. It’s all or nothing with Hart Lines May 8th and 9th. Jon and I ramble on about competitions vs. video parts. vs. “soul” skateboarding. No matter what attracts you most about skateboarding, join that tribe and take that avenue the farthest it can go. Battle at the Berries 8 is in it’s 3rd round and the competition is heating up.
