Most people never have an opportunity to get close to their heros. Either they’re doing the job of being the hero you love or they’ve escaped the bounds of human existence, giving their hero status the wings necessary to carry their legacy beyond the grave. Meeting Linda King is the closest I’ll ever get to meeting Charles Bukowski. It’s with great pride and honor that the magic of Los Angeles has brought me within steps of the lives of the heros that have been so essential in the recipe of my own view of the world.
Linda King talks about her latest book, Loving and Hating Charles Bukowski. Amazing stories that could only be told by Bukowski’s most infamous love interest. The lead character in Bukowski’s Women, Linda gives us an insider’s view in to the world of the renown writer. This is HER side of the story and an absolute must have for any Bukowski fan who wants the whole truth. Linda, you will always be number one.
Thanks to Richard Schave and Kim Cooper of Esotouric Bus Tours for conducting an amazing interview with one of the most prominent figures in my hero’s life.
You can buy Loving and Hating Charles Bukowski at Kiss Kill Press.
Check out Esotouric Bus Adventure if you love Los Angeles and it’s colorful history.
Special thanks to Linda’s son, Scott Hall for making this happen. This was a very happy day.
