This scourge called Covid has enlightened me, and I am sure many others, as to the position held within the lives of others. Those once considered friends have revealed themselves to be nothing more than acquaintances. Conversely, those thought to be casual associates have proven to be friends, in every sense of the word.
I know this subject matter is difficult to talk about but it is something that has to be addressed.
I am that person to do just that and "Knowing You're Mink-They Think You're Rabbit" is my public outcry!!
It is past time that we stop disregarding the feelings of those with whom we have formed supposed bonds by casting them aside and attributing discarded relationships to the convenient words of the scriptural text found in Ecclesiastes.
Yes, I understand that every relationship, nor acquaintance made, is designed to be maintained throughout "this entire journey". I also know that the callous and wanton disregard of those relationships is not what is to be conveyed through the words -everything has its season.
Although this piece brings focus to this issue that has been uncovered due to Covid -it is in no way an attempt to disregard the other issues that lead us to treat others in a manner that disregards the significance of their being.
THAT, IS FAR TOO EASY!!
IT IS MY DESIRE THAT THIS PIECE PROMOTE CONVERSATION...READY GO!!!
