Do you network strategically?

It is important when you are building your professional network to be purposeful. That means understanding the value of those you interact with and pursuing relationships of value.

By segmenting the people you network with, regardless of platform, you can better understand the value of your network. Perhaps even identify why you are not finding the results you need. We recommend breaking your professional network into 3 groups:

  • Peers
  • Resource/Referral
  • Ideal Client

Through segmentation you can use a strategic networking strategy to be more effective with your marketing. After all, if you are only talking with peers, how do you expect to find clients?
