Baked into our brains is the desire to survive. And when we’re faced with something that could put our survival in jeopardy, our brain, and body, react by triggering a stress response which prepares us to best handle the threat.

But whether you respond with the fight, flight, freeze, or fawn response, understanding how you instinctively respond to stress allows you to address those things that aren't actual dangers, in a way that sets you up for a positive outcome.

In this episode, we're covering the psychological way we respond to stress. And I'm diving into the powerful shifts you can make when you understand the way you react to stress and how to provide a little supervision to that reaction.

If you want a breakdown of the four stress responses and how to use your understanding of them to live your best life, get the worksheet for this episode at https://nourishnestbreathe.com/p22
