Cultural changes are happening on a massive scale. Those changes, seemingly inspired as we draw closer to the convergent crises that threaten civilization, seem to constitute a cultural rite of passage for civilization at large.
Much like the European Rennasiance of the 1600s, our culture today seems to be undergoing a kind of renaissance of thinking. How are individuals, and culture at large, coping with these changes? And what might be found on the other side?
Geena Glaser is our guest today. She works for a non-profit in Eugene, Ore., called Cascadia Quest, which guides young adults and adults through modern day rites of passage.
We cover a variety of topics, from the philosophical to the practical, and consider how, collectively, we seem to be growing into a more global consciousness.
