SR037: Daniel Scranton on Moving to Hawaii, Channeling & The Creators Answer Questions

Megan and I had the pleasure of speaking with Daniel Scranton this week. Daniel is a channel, teacher, and Reiki Master living on the big island of Hawaii. He spoke with us about his big move, minimalism, channeling, and intentional communities.

It seems like over the past few years many people have felt the calling to downsize and get really in touch with their values. For some people, that is spending more time at home with family, for others, it’s moving to a climate that supports their lifestyle. Daniel and his wife Lana eat a raw vegan diet of mostly fruit, love hiking, and the ocean, plus…they work online. These factors all played into them deciding that life on Hawaii made more sense for them than living in the hot and dry Ojai, California. They sold all of their possessions (even the car) and relocated just about 7 months ago. Their faith in the process was tested several times, but everything worked out. They are now in the process of Island jumping over to Maui, where Daniel teaches workshops regularly.

In the interview we talked about what tripped him up the most dealing with the move, how he has let synchronicity play a role in all of this, and he also gives advice to people wanting to follow in his footsteps.

Follow your heart, don’t think your way out of it. And do one thing at a time.
