We're going to talk about converting leads -- how to convert more leads. The first place to start is to make sure that we’re on the same page and iron out some of the poor conventional wisdom, old wives’ tales, and inconsistencies with how converting leads are talked about by sales professionals and marketing professionals. There are a lot of inconsistencies. First, let's go to some of the authorities on how conversion shakes out -- what conversion exactly is in a marketing, sales, business, e-commerce, or revenue generation kind of context.
