In 1902 six members of a farming family were murdered in Calcasieu Parish Louisiana. The gruesome discovery devastated the community. Alfred Batson was arrested despite having no motive for the murders. He would pay the ultimate price for the crime. See photos and sources for this episode in the show notes at southernmysteries.com
