This week, however, we got a one-on-one with Kev on the eve of the release of “Homework”, his first official solo LP in a decade plus. We talk with Kev on the premise behind the project, his longtime relationship with ReDefinition Records (peace to John & Damu) and all the other goodies he has on the way after this LP. We dust off the history books as well and talk about how life growing up in a household surrounded by music influenced him, how he found himself in the middle of this hip-hop thing and his early performances overseas with the Low Budget Crew.
