This week on Speakin' Geek Graham and Steve sit down and stir the shit with Stephen King's latest film adaptation The Dark Tower. Starring Idris Elba, Matthew McConaughey, and newcomer Tom Taylor this adaptation has been over a decade in the making. There's been, JJ Abrams and his Marvel Comics inspired version, then came Ron Howard and his man Akiva Goldman who were going to create a series. They eventually went on to be a part of the team that would make the film audiences were "treated" to.

With two different perspectives, a lover of the book, and a lover of fantasy there were hopes for The Dark Tower. Sadly they were dashed, and now we get to listen to two relatively young men grumble like old people.

Stay tuned for the next episode of Speakin' Geek and if you enjoyed this episode be sure and leave a rating on Itunes, good or bad. We love any human interaction; we're very lonely.
